About the Speaker

Cristhian Ortiz Elizarbe is a Psychologist and Social Innovator who has significantly contributed to education and social impact in Latin America. As the CEO and Founder of LASE, an innovative social enterprise, he has developed and implemented a groundbreaking curriculum that combines English language education with climate change awareness for children and adolescents in the region. Through his tireless efforts, the project has positively impacted over 7,000 students in 16 countries. LASE was recognized as the world's best social project by the World Agility Forum 2021, in Lisbon, Portugal. Cristhian was named the Global Competitiveness Leader 2021 at the Georgetown University Latin America Leadership Program, and he was selected as one of the 50 global leaders of the future in Future 50 by PMI in 2021. Last year, he was selected for the Young Leader of the Americas Initiative 2022 by the U.S. Department. Cristhian is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
