Agility promotes Sustainability

April 22nd @2:30 - 2:40pm

A short talk leaving the audience curious and hopeful as to how agility can promote sustainability by bringing the right people together in the right frame of mind and asking the right questions to optimize the use of limited planetary resources. Ideally "in the infinite game", people, processes and products should be able to be maintained at constant pace indefinitely. How should we focus the "Is it sustainable?" lens to achieve this?

About the Speaker

An authentic, creative, pragmatic, well-travelled, agile servant leader with over 30 years' experience in lightweight processes, agile methodology and frameworks, facilitation, mentoring, identifying challenges, transformative change, idea generation and troubleshooting. I like helping people and teams to connect the dots and find flow to get unstuck from old ways of doing things to make an impact.

To deliver the best results, I believe in leveraging the strengths of multi-disciplinary teams by including and empowering individuals and encouraging curiosity and collaboration to work towards solutions. Good leadership provides the "what" needs to be done and motivates team(s) to understand the "why" so that they can determine the "how" by learning to understand and accept what is "good enough".

Diversity, equity and inclusion, mental well-being and managing individual energy for work-life balance are essential, and maybe even having some fun, people will be more creative and productive while working together towards solutions.
